Are We There Yet?

October 20, 2007 By: Leslie Category: Uncategorized

I got excited to think the longest week I’ve had in ages was over… but it isn’t. It seems we have a mandatory surprise party tonight, followed by a rude house guest who wont’ tell us how long he’s staying, so I’ve been frantically cleaning all day in the assumption I won’t have time to do it later. I’m not sure when I’ll have time to write, but I’m swamped with work so I need to (a good thing, to be swamped with work, but I’m a little behind because of the hectic week). Luckily, honey is taking the rude friend to the range tomorrow for trap shooting, weather permitting, so that will buy me a couple of hours in the morning to write clean up after our house guest… sigh. It’s good to have friends but it would be even better if this one horse town had a friggin hotel. Or even a shitty B&B. Grumble. On the positive side, I did get to sleep in today. All the way until 9 AM! Woohoo! After a week of going of bed at 3 AM and getting up at 6 AM to work my ass off, that was nice. :) I’ll catch y’all later – I’m going to go squeeze in 20 minutes on the treadmill. Not a lot, but better than nothing, and I don’t have time to do my long outdoor walk, do the laundry, finish cleaning and attend the stupid party and have a house guest….

Nope but someone else did. And it was possibly the wrost party I've attended in AGES too, no ones fault though - the person who threw the party ewas cleaning it up an hour early, etc, It was weird.
  • oh thats right.....

Did that 'house guest' RUIN the surprise?
