A bunch of bloggers wrote me last night to ask if I was participating in Blog Action Day. After determining what that was (a day for bloggers to blog about environmental causes on their blog, apparently) the answer is “No, I am not.” I’m sure it is a good cause, this environment thing, but it isn’t one of my good causes. My causes are mostly animal related: ASPCA, Humane Society, preventing breed-specific legislation, fighting the switch to HFA inhalers, that sort of thing. I don’t even recycle (gasp!). Should I do more for environmental causes? Yes, I should do things like recycle and the like, but I flat don’t have room or time right now, sorry tree huggers!
