This news item is a little older, but I’ve been busy – what do you want from me?? Anyway, I thought you’d all appreciate it, especially knowing how hard I crusade against the RIAA bully boys and how much I long for a change of guard in the White House to a more libertarian friendly scenario like Ron Paul. This is from Boing Boing:
I hope and expect that you at the RIAA will display the same vigor in prosecuting this matter and protecting the rights of your rights-holders that it has displayed in enforcing those rights against other alleged violators.

The original news item just cracked me up – I love that someone wrote a letter to the RIAA bully boys asking them to prosecute the Bush twins just like they would any other violator for “illegal file sharing”. Because those mix CDs are really destroying the recording industry. Not. What I do’t understand is why the guy retracted his story so quickly. We may never know. But I still thought you would all find it amusing – retraction or no.
